The semi-integral Vialone Nano rice has a slightly darker color because less processed; the grain is so tasty, it retains more nutritional properties and has much more fiber. Vialone Nano rice is all considered to be the finest rice for risottos. This quality is recognized throughout the world and is a pride of the Italian production. Born in 1937 from a junction between Vialone and Nano varieties, it has a more rounded grain. It absorbs the seasoning very well and is suitable for risottos, baked meals, soups and sweets.
